Prosperity Theology

Hey everyone!

Just a quick update.  I am currently working on the sewer level of the game.  The sewer level will have a fun twist to the game which I believe most players will enjoy.

Once the sewer level is completed, I will finish up the last level which is the Church's basement.

Prosperity theology has been something manipulated by some Christians for their own financial benefit. These Christians take the Bible out of context and use quotes to their advantage.  When someone promises miracles in exchange for money should always be a red flag, just like anything in life.  These ministers that I like to refer as salesman, will hook you in, make you laugh, tell you everything you want to hear, then make promises of a richer and happier life. What do you have to do? Give the church money of course!  

You are essentially pulling a spiritual slot machine hoping for a large return.  In many cases these schemes work.  It is a simple yet easy approach to being a good Christian.  It is what we tell children if they want presents for Christmas.  In exchange for good behavior, Santa will give you gifts. Same approach works for the desperate.

I have no issues with televangelist, however, when you spend 70% to 80% more focused on fundraising, one has to ask the question, are you more concerned about getting my money, or my salvation?
